Jeremy Rivkin

Husband, father, student, teacher, community activist and volunteer

Jeremy currently lives in Southern California with his family.

Proud of his heritage of being Jewish and American, Jeremy has been blessed to be born in the United States of America!

Jeremy is an member of Stand For Murrieta and founding Associate member of the Oath Keeper Chapter of Temecula Valley.

Formerly a Democrat and of the Left, his loyalties lie to his G-d and his country to which he owes so much, for the sake of not only the past, but the future.  Involved in politics and charity since he was a little boy, Jeremy believes very strongly in his Country and helping others.  He feels it is his responsibility to speak out at a time like this.

Jeremy has received a uniquely broad and quality education, including from Rancho Buena Vista High School where he graduated in the honor's program (A.P./I.B.).  Jeremy is currently finishing an art degree from Westwood College in Computer Aided Design/Architectural Drafting and plans to pursue a Master's in Architecture and multiple L.E.E.D. A.P.s, including neighborhood development and urban design.

Winner of multiple art and CAD contests, as well as published as a poet, Jeremy has a wide range of skills and awards, including his current work in CAD (see below), AutoCad, Revit, and by-hand architectural drafting.  He also is known as a technology expert, with years of experience in the computer and cellphone industries.

 New and relevant poetry.

Raised both Sephardi and Ashkenazim due to his families history of both lineages (Rivkin, Levi, Benveniste, Epstein, Saccowitz).  Jeremy was Bar Mitzvah'ed in Jerusalem at the Western Wall, as well as at Chabad of La Costa.  Observant, and member of both the Chabad and Conservative movements, Jeremy believes in keeping the laws as best he can.

He has also learned a great deal from his family.

His grandparents on his father's side, both recently passed away, were proud American Navy during World War II.  His grandfather was a pilot and engineer, and his grandmother a nurse. He founded this blog in dedication to them.

"Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.  You are always in my heart."

His father was a professor of Politics and Economics at the University of Connecticut, before taking on a role for the city of New Britain, Connecticut, where Jeremy was born.  His father, a conservative, lead the first city wide recycling program, before working for the city of Oceanside, and eventually going into the private sector before recent retirement.

His mother, originally a kindergarten teacher, advanced her own education and achieved a P.H.D. in childhood development.  She was a role model for many, always preaching the importance of continuing education.  She became a renown child psychologist, working with Lake Elsinore School District and the State of California on developing guidelines for special education programs, before she recently retired.
