Hobby Lobby

On the way to Westwood, I noticed many Hobby Lobby stores.  Some large, some small.

It reminds me that the left in this country hated that ruling.  Sure enough, turn on MSNBC and you will see the froathing at the mouth.

Perhaps these guys didn't read the decision.

The Supreme Court of the US stated by Congress's own law, the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act of 1993, that it struck down the ACA's mandate.  So creating a new bill is pointless!  It will get struck down in the same manner by the Supreme Court because it is their job to enforce the RFRA.  For me, the kicker was that Mark Udall from Colorado sponsoring the bill.  Looking at the 2014 election poll numbers with Mark Udall losing as an incumbent, makes you think that this is a last ditch hail mary.

These guys are either morons or incompetent or worse ... anti-religious bigots.

The decision really was about religious freedom more than it was about abortion.  People who think religious people are nuts don't understand that religious people have a moral issue with abortion.  They shout "you are taking away my choice!"  To which I calmly reply, "you are taking away the babies choice."

Last year, in the U.S. there were over 1 million abortions.  Roughly 12% occured in the 2nd or 3rd trimesters. These are real babies, not some made up "right," that are dying.

Sad.  And these liberal Democrats want to use it as the essential issue in a crucial election?  With Iraq exploding and the economy floundering to make real jobs?  How unprofessional and myopic.
