Plans

It's easy to criticize, but it's much harder to lay good plans that will hold up.

In Iraq, the situation continues to degrade as IS pushes Iraq to the brink of collapse.  Baghdad may soon be under siege as ISIS controls the water supplies to the city.  You can't live without water.

Based upon that advice, as Commander and Chief, I would push money, supplies, even UN peacekeepers or Nato troops into Kurd controlled regions in the north to protect the people and oil.  Which means diplomacy and statesmanship.

Hopefully, a coordinated push can be put together towards water supplies - to save Baghdad before it's too late.
