"William Schabas is supposed to be impartial as head of the new UN
inquiry on Gaza. Yet in fact he is the complete opposite. Schabas
notoriously calls Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu his
"favorite” to put “in the dock of the International Criminal Court.”
He also called on the court to "go after" former Israeli President
Shimon Peres for "war crimes." Meanwhile, he refused to call Hamas a
terrorist group.
